Jenna Wasling |
The core company consists of just two of us, although we regularly employ other performers to work alongside us for specific projects.
Jenna and Rhea first met at Wyke sixth form college where they created
their first pieces of devised theatre. It was clear from the start, that they both had the same aspirations, this lead them to the same course at East 15 Drama school in London.

We celebrate the beauty of creation and encourage people to sing, play and be thankful. |

The Contemporary Theatre course was new to East 15 when Jenna and Rhea started in 2002. It was designed for people who wanted to create their own theatre. It taught them about the profound influence that theatre can have and how it can be used to tackle issues and inspire change. We were encouraged to have an economic approach, creating simple yet effective
pieces. Emotional expression and energetic delivery was taught as the foundation
of good theatre, making performances accessible and enjoyable to everyone
rather than catering specifically to a theatrical audience. This has
all stuck with us in the way we create our pieces today. |

We want to urge people to move
from their sofa’s, to stop boxing themselves in and step out into the
theatre of life. |
